February 16, 2023 - I was very fortunate to be invited by Jennifer Lawson, the owner of the shop Crow (www.edmondscrow.com), in downtown Edmonds, to participate in the February Art Walk.

January 22, 2023 - About two months ago we had a wind storm that shook the foundations of the house. It was around 10 pm and the thought began to enter my head that it was very possible a tree could come down.

December 28, 2022 - When I started out learning to carve I had only my slojd knife and a hunk of wood. Pretty quickly I realized that if I was going to learn to carve bowls I needed a bench to secure my work.

March 1, 2022 - The first time I carved a piece of wood I jabbed the blade of a Swiss army knife into my palm. I abandoned the craft for 35 years until I felt the inspiration again.

December 11, 2021 - I was very fortunate to have the opportunity to do an in store carving demonstration at Fjallraven’s Seattle flagship location.
